WAO Center of Excellence
The UC San Diego Center for Asthma and Sinus Disease is recognized as a Center of Excellence for the 2020-2023 term by the World Allergy Organization (WAO).
A WAO Center of Excellence demonstrates proficiency in research, clinical aspects, basic science, education and training, and networking/advocacy. It excels in both basic and clinical research, hosts recognized clinical programs, offers distinguished academic programs, presents a robust education/training program, and actively engages in advocacy efforts at national or international levels.
